Google decides to close Google+ in April instead of August due to a new data leak

Google has decided to close its social platform Google+ in April by four months from what it announced previously, which was scheduled to be dispensed with in August 2019; This decision due to security holes hit the platform presented personal user data at risk, while noting that the proportion of Google + users are low as 90% of user sessions on the platform do not exceed 5 seconds.

Google continues to adopt the idea of retaining its social platform for the business field and its clientele who are still in service to facilitate conversations and communicate with each other, in parallel to introducing new features to the platform. Google says it is focused on providing a secure social network for companies; in a somewhat strange statement, one of the reasons for its abandonment of its social platform is due to security, where it did not provide sufficient protection for personal page data for users of its social platform Google+.
